sweet potato biscuits

These biscuits are like little bites of southern heaven.  They are not to difficult to make and they are a perfect addition to Thanksgiving Dinner.  I will definitely be making them this year, and if there are any left overs we will have them with slices of ham, for breakfast the following day.
Ingredients

  • 1 medium (1 lb.) sweet potato
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2-2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 Tbsp (1 stick) butter, frozen
